What's the Future of AMC Theatres for Workers?

As movie theaters struggle during the coronavirus pandemic, AMC Theatres has reportedly informed investors that it could run low on cash by the end of 2020 and that bankruptcy could be on the table. At the same time, AMC has acknowledged several different pathways to raise revenues and the company’s stock even went up in late October as it announced theater reopenings in New York. What’s more: AMC is owned by investment firms with billions of dollars in assets.

AMC workers have joined a popular campaign on Coworker.org started before the pandemic calling on the chain to offer overtime, holiday pay and paid sick leave to its hourly employees. We want to hear from AMC workers now: what are your concerns about your job at the moment -- and what would an AMC that is accountable to its employees look like as the company undergoes changes?
