Forced Arbitration Agreements in the Tech Industry

Last year, 20,000 employees and subcontractors at Google walked out in protest of massive payouts to executives accused of sexual harassment, and in protest of the arbitration agreements that limited workers’ rights to speak up against workplace harassment, discrimination, or retaliation. Some tech companies have removed forced arbitration as a condition of employment, but several full time employees, temps, subcontractors, vendors, and employees of suppliers or staffing agencies have not been let out of these arrangements.

Do you work for a tech company? Do you still have an arbitration agreement? We’d like to better understand the prevalence of this problem, so we can stand together as we fight it.

PS: Please fill out this brief survey, and read our Medium piece on your rights to share this type of information, and how to ask for and find your arbitration agreement.
